I am a person driven by passion. Everything I do stems from a deep love of my hobbies and interests. From Costumes, to Cosplay, to Vintage re-creation clothing, to Kawaii Felt Food, this website is a representation of all the things I enjoy creating. Creativity is a part of me and I want to share this talent with the world.
I have been creating and studying costumes all my life. As a child I made doll clothing and as an adult I costume actors. I not only love to design and create costumes for others, but to wear them myself. I enjoy the feeling of being as accurate to a reference as possible and embodying the person I am dressed as.
I have a great interest in costume history and have channeled this ino my vast collection of Antique and Vintage clothing and accessories. Because of this interest, I have been lucky enough to work at several museums in their historic costume collections. There, I learned how to care, document and store clothing. I use these same techniques to store and conserve my own collection.
Japan is another passion of mine, from it tradition and art to its pop culture and fashion. I collect kimonos and their accessories, as well as Lolita and Harujuku fashion. I love to study Japan and continue to visit regularly.
